This video is a great overview of the new 4 cylinder twin turbo motor that both provides more torque and horsepower than the old inline 6, all while burning less gasoline.

4 of the new M sport models will be powered by the new tri-turbo BMW diesel motor. The new variants will be badged “M 550d”, with # being 5, X5, X6 or 5 touring.
